2. Cho La Pass

Upon crossing the Ngazumpa glacier-biggest glacier in the world, the trek advances towards Cho La Pass. Though the trek is quite demanding around Cho La Pass, the surrounding views from here will be unbeatable. The pyramidal Ama Dablam presides over a range of mountains on the south even as Cholatse soar on the west and Lobuche East and Baruntse rises sharply to travelers’ right.

Similarly, in moving forth to Everest Base Camp the trek passes through the lateral moraine of the Khumbu Glacier.
