Nepal is getting a huge impact on the tourism industry because of COVID 19 and international and domestic flights are still on hold.
Some hotels and restaurants are running to focus on domestic tourists keeping safety protocols to prevent the spread of the disease.
As airports are also ready to facilitate the operation of flights so cabinet meeting held on July 20, 2020, had approved to resume all domestic and international flights from and to Nepal from August 17, 2020.
The government has directed the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation to make necessary arrangements for the safe operations of all tourist arrivals from August 17, 2020.
It’s great news international and domestic flights going to resume but still, many questions arise.
- What happens if someone shows symptoms?
- How PCR test will be held on arrival and departure?
- What is the condition apply to get into Nepal?
So, even the cabinet has declared to open regular flights from 17th August, 2020 but this comes with many questions and very little answers.
